With the recent passing of Ray Thomas, I felt inspired to draw a picture in his honor. More influential than any other band, the music of the Moody Blues is weaved into the fabric of who I am. I asked my dad to make a playlist highlighting Ray Thomas, and I listened to it on repeat while I drew pictures all night long. I hadn’t sat with a pencil in hand for that long in many years.

I’ll probably do more to “finish” this. Maybe do it all over again, who knows. All I know is that it’s not done; I’ve still not found what I’m looking for.
